About Track3t
Track3t was formed to solve the decades-old problem that most companies are constantly losing their stuff. They cannot control their inventory accuracy beyond about 98%. That 2% missing or lost or misplaced inventory costs billions of dollars per year across distributors and product manufacturers. Track3t knows where everything is every second, creating greater efficiency, speed, and cost savings by bringing deterministic predictability to moving material, equipment, and tooling. Companies can eliminate shipment errors, misloaded trucks, unhappy customers, production line errors, and material flow inefficiencies. Cutting errors saves labor and capex, and preserves customer relationships. By continuously collecting data about asset flows in a building, companies build a historical database of behaviors and discover operational and strategic insights that reduce operating expenses, reduce capex, and improve service levels to create more loyal customers. Companies that fail to collect and analyze this data develop a persistent data deficit and fall behind competitors.
For twenty years, the promise of RFID technology to determine precise interior locations has failed to deliver on its promise. Keeping track of material has primarily been limited to intermittently monitoring movement through gates, like a receiving dock, or the "back" and "front" of a retail store. Track3t’s patented system combines multiple technologies into a patented architectural breakthrough to deliver complete knowledge and control over inventory, equipment, and tooling as it moves, every second. Our solution relies on
Mobile sensors to identify loads using inexpensive UHF RFID readers and to locate the loads using high performance ultra-wide band anchors,
IoT-style networking and Big Data analytics in the cloud,
SaaS Business Model,
Battery power and wireless communication to reduce installation cost and disruption.
We are a spinoff of HDS Global, which was founded by Louis Borders, the founder of Webvan and Borders Books, and which has raised $35 million from Toyota, Andreesen Horowitz, Ingram Micro and others. We have early customers whose combined demand is over 100 installations. We are located in Palo Alto, California, and would be happy to talk about how our technology can save money and deliver unexpected insights into your business
